A few photos of Johanna in days gone by

1927. Just after the building of the tennis court. The old car belongs to tourists who had arrived for a Contry Club tennis tournament. The house in the background belongs to the Goddard family who owned the land right up to the Johanna River waterfalls. The Speight family bought all that land from them & shifted the house, by horse & sled, to present day 430 Red Johanna Road in the mid 1930s.
